2015 Championship has been reschedule!!
The 2015 NAIFC Championship Mandatory Rules Meeting will be held in Isle on the evening of Friday February 5, 2016 at the McQuoid’s Inn Resort Hotel. The 2015 NAIFC Championship is a two-day, February 6th and February 7st, total-weight tournament. Hours of competition on both days will be between 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Tournament area: Day One will be on Mille Lacs Lake in Isle Bay, targeting 16 Perch. Day Two will be on Knife Lake targeting 8 Crappies and 8 Blue Gills.

All meetings, weigh-ins or other functions will take place at McQuoid’s Inn Resort Hotel. Please support McQuoid’s as they are supporting the NAIFC as Host Sponsors. Teams planning to arrive early to pre-fish should watch the Championship Registration list and contact fellow teams to share cabins at McQuoid’s Inn Resort Hotel.
Championship Fee Schedule: Teams that entered one (1) 2015 NAIFC Qualifier = $150.00 Championship entry fee. Teams that entered two (2) 2015 NAIFC Qualifiers = $110.00 Championship entry fee. Teams that entered three (3) or more 2015 NAIFC Qualifiers = $ 70.00 Championship entry fee. Teams invited through Invitational policy = $250.00 Championship entry fee. The higher price for not attending a NAIFC Qualifier is based on the principle that a portion ($40.00) of every Qualifier Tournament’s entry fee goes toward the Championship, (along with $20.00 for administration) and teams that entered multiple NAIFC Qualifying Tournaments contributed more to the Championship prize fund.
Championship Payout: Assuming 75 Teams:
Payout will be for one position paid for every five teams entered: if 75 Team Field we will pay Teams 1st through 15th
We had 312 Teams enter 2015 Qualifiers… each entry contributed $40.00 towards the Championship
312 @ $40.00 = $12,480.00 towards the Championship.
At this point we do not know what fee schedule teams that sign up will fall under. Assuming a $125.00 average: 75 teams @ $125.00 = $9,375.00 towards the Championship.
Under this scenario the payout would have a $21,855.00 starting total. Championship Ring Cost is approximately $3,600.00… Commemorative Championship hats $1,350.00 leaving $16,905.00 in cash to be distributed. If the sign-up’s average at the $125.00 level then the Payout scenario would be.
