Plastics: How and when to use.
Jigs: Style, size and use.
How to: Sharpen a hook.
How to: Fillet a fish.
Cooking/frying: breading basics.
Strike detection: Spring bobbers, slip bobbers.
Kids Ice Camp February 4th , 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm
In class tutorial (The Edgewater) 1:00pm - 2:00pm
On Ice fishing (Lake Mendota) 2:00pm- 3:30 pm
Parents must accompany their kids during the on ice portion of this event. The kids and parents will then be invited to fish on Lake Mendota with the NAIFC Pro Staff. Equipment will be provided. This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce a new way for kids to enjoy what the outdoors has to offer. Winter Fishing and introduction to the newest technology will give the parent and child a first look at ice fishing.
SATURDAY february 4th, Rules Meeting 7pm at lot 60
This meeting is mandatory for at least one team member. Come early, have diner, get your packets, and relax before the big day. The Rules meeting will start promptly at 7:00.
