Ice Fishing Float in 4th Parade

Summer has most of us thinking about grilling out, water skiing, boating, and anything else we can do in the warm weather season.  But for Rhinelander, it is also a time to celebrate and promote ice fishing!  Thousands of people lined downtown Rhinelander to enjoy the floats and festivities of our Country’s celebration of independence.  Among the many float entries this year, was an ice fishing tribute. NAIFC Inc., ElectronicGuideService.com, Shoeder’s Marine and Sports Center, Create Estate Landscaping, and the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up to put together this frozen scene on wheels.

A special thanks to Tod Todd and his family, Craig and Scott Hatleback, Sheri, Alex, Devon, and Carter Gaber for all their efforts.  We had the best candy and give a ways, and more than one spectator made favorable comments about the “Command Center”.  In addition to being a fun time, we also handed out more than 1000 fliers promoting the WIFC 2010.
