By Dave Hunt | February 17th, 2009February has been a mixture of weather here in lower Michigan - warm, rain, snow, freeze. Slush freezing to the bottom of sleds makes them pull like a boulder. This is a time when you have to be careful and the dark spots on the ice should be avoided. The positive side is that the bite starts to improve with fish showing up in the flats that haven’t been there before …. it gets fishy ><>
